Food and Drink

• 200 yds up the drive, the old stone barn has been converted into a licenced restaurant, the Ben Nevis Inn, which serves freshly prepared bar meals using local produce - booking advised (01397 701227).
• The Glen Nevis Restaurant with a licensed restaurant and lounge bar is a 20 minute walk along the riverbank.
• 2 miles back in Fort William - taxi easily arranged.

Directions from Fort William:

By Car:

• A82 north to Glen Nevis roundabout
• left towards Inverness, don't take the Glen Nevis exit at this roundabout
• take 1st right in front of the traffic lights onto Claggan Rd
• right again in front of Spar shop onto Achintee Rd
• continue to the end of the road (1.5 kms) - turn right through the opening past the Ben Nevis Inn and down the drive to the farmhouse

By Foot:

• A82 north from Fort William, follow signs to Glen Nevis
• at the Visitor Centre (1 mile) take foot bridge over river
• turn right
• 50 yards to garden gate, walk through and up to the farmhouse

Public Transport - The nearest train station and Citylink coach services are in Fort William (1 1/2 miles). A local bus #41 comes up Glen Nevis. It leaves from besides the train station in Fort William and lets you off (by request) at the Visitor Centre in Glen Nevis.
