Achintee Farm is in Glen Nevis, beside the river, at the start of the Ben Nevis Footpath. We offer a peaceful, relaxing stay with plenty of walking right from the door.

Only a mile and a half from Fort William, Achintee is also centrally located for day trips to, for example, Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, and the white sandy beaches at Morar. Take the steam train to Mallaig, a boat trip to Seal Island, or a mountain cable car ride at Aonach Mor.

Mountain Biking, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, golfing and skiing are also available locally.

Achintee is a 19th century Farmhouse - modern comfort, traditional charm. There are three guest bedrooms all with
en-suite facilities.

Guests are welcome to use the lounge which has lots of books maps as well as a television. We have WiFi access.

There is also plenty of space in the garden when the weather's too good to be indoors. Non smoking.

Self Catering (STB 3 Star)

Situated on its own piece of ground, the stone-built 18th century cottage overlooks Glen Nevis and has a particularly traditional atmosphere about it, including a real fire.

• Bedroom, with double bed.
• Lounge/kitchen with open fire, TV, CD Player, cooker, refrigerator, and microwave.
• Bathroom with bath/shower.
• Linen and towels are supplied.
• Oil-filled radiators in each room.
• Electricity, heating, fuel and laundry included.

• WiFi at the Farmhouse.

This small hostel is attached to the side of the main farm house.

Groups are not catered for.

The hostel consists of three separate units each with its own kitchen, toilet and shower. One unit contains two twin rooms; one a triple and small twin bedroom; and the third is a small en-suite dormitory sleeping 5 in bunk beds.

There are two efficient drying rooms. Laundry by arrangement.
The nearest shop is a mile away and the Ben Nevis Inn serving food and drink is 200 yards up the drive.
